On 19 November 2025, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society hosted the Council of Presidents Meeting of the Turkic Red Network in Baku. Presidents and senior representatives from the National Societies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Turkmenistan—together with the OTS Secretariat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and other partners—convened to review the Network’s 2025 activities and endorse the 2026 Strategic Roadmap.
The presidents of the member National Societies signed the Baku Declaration, outlining concrete commitments to enhance coordination, strengthen joint preparedness and response efforts, and further invest in volunteers and youth.
During the meeting, the rotating chairmanship of the Turkic Red Network was handed over from the Kyrgyzstan Red Crescent Society, to the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Kyrgyzstan Red Crescent for its dedicated leadership and convey our warm congratulations and best wishes to the Azerbaijan Red Crescent in its new role.
