Established on October 10, 2024, in Bishkek, the Turkic Red Network is a regional humanitarian platform that brings together the Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
Operating in line with the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the Constitution of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Network aims to strengthen joint humanitarian response in the Turkic world, enhance regional solidarity, and deepen cooperation among national societies.
The Network’s priority areas of work include advocacy and humanitarian policy, joint humanitarian response operations, capacity building, and strengthening regional partnerships, with the overarching goal of increasing the effectiveness of humanitarian operations.
The Secretariat of the Network is hosted by the Turkish Red Crescent in Ankara.
